Masquerade

A reserved luxury for the upper classes, the first noted Masquerade balls occurred in Italy during the 15th Century Renaissance, before becoming popular across mainland Europe in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

Infamous for encouraging ‘immorality’, let your guests indulge in the mystery and illusion of hiding behind a mask for the night. This versatile theme can be applied to multiple styles, such as classic Venetian, Rococo or even Disney and Phantom of the Opera.

If you’re more intrigued by the risqué, engage in luxurious debauchery and set your Masquerade in the style of 18th Century France in the Rococo period, with a ball to rival that of Marie Antionette’s.

Or for the more romantic, invite your guests to Prince Charming’s ball, and lead them by Royal Footmen into your venue, fulfilling any inner Cinderella fantasy of your guests.
